Action Plan

Our goals align with the following:


Goal 1

 

By 2028, LTLs will develop and implement a scope and sequence document for information literacy, technology skills, and integrated STEAM activities aligned with LTL Priority Standards for grades 4K through 12th grade.

Action steps:

  1. Analyze current practices and curriculum for research skills instruction, digital citizenship, and technology use.
  2. Create a scope and sequence to ensure skills are integrated, taught and embedded into the curriculum.
  3. Put scope and sequence into practice and reevaluate after one year.
  4. Collaborate with teachers through PLCs coaching cycles, co-teaching, co-plan/co-serve to ensure the implementation of the scope and sequence.


Goal 2

By 2028, LTLs will plan, facilitate, and evaluate personalized professional development opportunities based on staff feedback, district strategic plan, curriculum and building goals. In order to support the facilitation of professional development, LTLs will participate in at least two individual learning opportunities.

Action steps:

  1. In conjunction with Goal 3, plan, deliver, and evaluate personalized professional development in building meetings, district inservice days, summer learning opportunities and coaching cycles based on needs determined through district and building leadership meetings.
  2. Attend conferences to stay current and enhance teaching and learning.
  3. Facilitate books studies to promote reflection and professional growth.

Goal 3

 

By 2028, LTL's will actively serve on both the district and school leadership and curriculum teams, contributing to the development and implementation of initiatives aligned with the educational goals.

Action steps:

  1. Participate in district and building leadership meetings.
  2. Participate in PLCs, grade level meetings, and department meetings.
  3. Engage in district curriculum cycles to integrate the LTL priority standards.
