The inviation letter to apply for National Honor Society will be emailed to eligible Juniors and Seniors the last week in July or first week in August.  Please check your email for all the necessary information.

Eligibility for the Hamilton Chapter of National Honor Society is for Juniors and Seniors with a 3.5 GPA or higher. All students with a GPA of a 3.5 or higher (who are not already in NHS) will be emailed an invitation. The application details will be listed under the "application tab" at the end of July.  Applications will be due in early September. 

***** All applicants will need to have participated in a minimum of 4-5 different volunteer activities (since grade 9). If you are looking for additional opportunites, please choose from those listed here. 

Summer Volunteer Opportunities for incoming Juniors and Seniors (not currently in NHS). 

  • The Menomonee Falls Public Library is looking for teen volunteers (ages 14+) to help out with our Summer Library Program! What will you do as a volunteer? Run the summer table, prep youth program materials, and lend a hand at events during the Summer Library Program from June 13 – August 13! Plus, you’ll be invited to our murder mystery party for teen volunteers at the end of summer (there will be pizza)! Interested?  Fill out an application and return it to the Children’s Desk at the Library or email it to kalford@menomonee-falls.org.   • Party in the ParkJune 23rd - Sussex Village Park - food tasting event    3:30-7:30p  They are looking for 12 students to help restaurants set up and clean-up. If interested, contact Jess Coniu, Chamber Director  Sussex/MenoFalls  chamberdirector@gmfschamber.com

  • Bugline Trail Clean-up - July 9th  9am -10:30am - Park at the Police Station- Check-in with Sussex Green Team adults

  • Milwaukee Rescue MissionEquip Summer City Camp for K4-7th graders, that will run from June 20th – July 29th (no camp 7/1-7/5, due to the holiday).  1530 W. Center St.- Milwaukee.  We are in need of about 5 volunteers per day during that time frame, to help out on Monday through Thursday from 7:30-11:30am.  The morning time is spent in the classroom, working on academics – reading, math, etc. – but with a lighter approach than during the school year.  Volunteers would be pitching in to help out wherever needed.  Contact Lexi Fritz (Volunteer Services) Milwaukee Rescue Mission 414-935-0241 volunteer@milmission.org  (If you are under 18, be sure to let her know as there will be a parent permission form to fill out. Identify yourself as a student from Hamilton High School).

  • HHS Birthday Card prep for 22-23- There will be 2-3 workshops held in the HHS IMC this summer (cutting, assembling, writing birthday messages inside cards). If you are interested in helping please email Mrs. Gorski. gorsja@hamilton.k12.wi.us
