I know that the books are organized in different "neighborhoods" in our library.
I know what the call numbers mean on the spine of the book:
E = Everyone picture books: The E is followed by the first three letters of the author’s last name. Example: The Makeup Mess by Robert Munsch - E MUN
F= Fiction or Chapter Books: The F is followed by the first three letters of the author’s last name. Example: Fablehaven by Brandon Mull - F MUL
PBK F = Paperback Fiction: The PBK F is followed by the first three letters of the author’s last name. Example: Double Fudge by Judy Blume - PBK F BLU
000 - 999 = Nonfiction books: The nonfiction call number is followed by the first three letters of the author’s last name. Example: Where is Easter Island? by Megan Stine - 966.18 STI
